Since 1981, Wylie Carter Architects has led design and planning on numerous film and TV production studios in Hollywood, and world-wide. At the same time, it has completed many custom homes in the Los Angeles westside, as well as in western USA.

J. Scott Carter holds a Master of Architecture degree from UC Berkeley, a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with additional training in Film History & Art Direction from UCLA, and is an Alumni of the California State Universities’ International Programs Architecture Study Center in Florence, Italy.
